MIAMI – Iberia (IB) has announced the resumption of flights to several Moroccan destinations following the reopening of Morocco’s borders and the easing on travel conditions.

The services concerned are those with destination to Marrakech (RAK), Casablanca ( CMN), and Tangiers (TNG) operated either by an Airbus 320 aircraft seating 180 passengers or by IB regional Air Nostrum (YW) CRJ1000 carrying 100 persons,

The flights concern the months of July and August during which IB will offer daily flights between Madrid (MAD) and RAK, five per week to CMN, and three per week to TNG on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Entry in Morocco is subject to the country of origin of travelers and passengers are invited to consult Moroccan representatives before their flight while an interactive map, detailing health measure applied by each country, is available on IB website.

IB has also indicated that changes in flight and dates are possible whenever COVID restrictions come into force before departure. Regardless, it is interesting to see IB back in Morocco despite the recent impasses between the country and Spain.
